Returns & Refunds policy
At Mother Earth Inc., we're committed to providing high-quality products made from recycled plastic, and your satisfaction is our priority. If for any reason you're not completely happy with your purchase, here's how we can help.
Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges
Timeframe: You have 30 calendar days from the date you received your item to initiate a return or exchange.
Condition: To be eligible, your item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition you received it. It must also be in its original packaging with all tags still attached. We cannot accept returns on items that show signs of wear or damage not related to manufacturing defects.
Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete your return or exchange.
Non-Returnable Items: Certain types of items cannot be returned:
Gift cards
Custom-made or personalized items
Clearance or final sale items
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
To start a return or exchange, please contact our customer service team at sales@themotherearth.ca or 825 883 5559. Be sure to include your order number and the reason for your return or exchange. Our team will guide you through the process.
Shipping Returns
You'll be responsible for the shipping costs to return your item. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
For higher-value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we'll receive your returned item.
Refunds (If Applicable)
Once we receive your returned item and inspect it, we'll send you an email to confirm its receipt and to let you know if your refund has been approved or rejected.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7 business days. Please be aware that it might take some time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund.
Late or Missing Refunds (If Applicable):
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at [Insert Customer Service Email Address].
Exchanges (If Applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival, or if there's a manufacturing flaw related to our recycled plastic materials. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, send us an email at sales@themotherearth.ca, and our team will provide instructions on how to proceed.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a product made from recycled plastic that is damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at sales@themotherearth.ca or 825 883 5559. Provide details of the product and the defect, including photographs if possible. We'll work with you promptly to resolve the issue, which may involve a replacement or refund.
